Phenyl silicone – or methyl phenyl silicone – is a polydimethylsiloxane with phenyl groups. The phenyl content improves various properties such as oxidation resistance, thermal stability, shear resistance and optical clarity.
The most prominent characteristic is flexibility at extreme temperatures, with operational ranges between -90 °F to +500 °F.

OVERVIEW
Methyl phenyl silicone rubber is a high molecular weight polysiloxane composed of dimethylsiloxane links, diphenylsiloxane links and methyl vinyl siloxane links. It can be vulcanized by peroxide or cross-linked by silicone hydrogen addition vulcanization into elastomer.

HOW TO USE
According to the actual needs in the kneader to add the product methyl phenyl siliconerubber, reinforcing filler, incremental filler, structural control agent, modified additives, mixing evenly added to get the compounding rubber, and then further add vulcanizing agent mixing, further manufacturing the required molded or extruded products.
During the processing of the products, the equipment and apparatus used must be clean and strictly prevent the mixing and bringing in of dust, oil and foreign substances, otherwise the mechanical properties of the products will be degraded.
It is highly soluble in reagents such as toluene and tetrahydrofuran. Therefore, methyl phenyl vinyl silicone rubber should be strictly isolated from these substances.
Packaging, storage and transportation
The products are packed in 20kg plastic bags and stored in cartons. And it can be packed according to the user's demand.
The product should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse.
Products are shipped in accordance with non-dangerous goods.
